Polish Platform on Mobile Communications and Wireless Technology

The Polish Platform on Mobile Communications and Wireless Technology was founded on 4th February 2005.

It associates companies, R&D institutions as well as SMEs to foster collaborative R&D undertakings and profit from financial resources dedicated to R&D  projects available both in Poland and Europe. It aims at increasing the potential of Poland and Polish companies in mobile services, applications and technologies in order to support economic development and creation of a mobile, open and democratic society.

Understanding the meaning of the challenges drafted in Lisbon Strategy and following the goals of eMobility, the Polish Platform on Mobile Communications and Wireless Technologies will take an active role in the undertakings of eMobility, contributing to the reinforcement of Europe's leadership in mobile communications and mastering of the future development of this technology, so that it best serves Europe's citizens and the European economy.

The Polish Platform aims at formulating a vision of the development of the Polish mobile sector and its respective roadmap. Furthermore, the Platform will take an active role in mobility-related policy-making both in Poland and Europe to foster innovation and creativity in the sector. The aforementioned, will facilitate increasing  competitiveness of the Polish companies and promote them as competent and reliable business partners.
