According to the regulation of Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology a calendar of the academic year 2011/2012 is the following:

First day of classes scheduled for the winter semester October 3, 2011  
Last day of classes scheduled for winter semester January 27, 2012  
First day of the winter examination period January 28, 2012  
Last day of the winter examination period February 12, 2012  
First day of the registration period February 13, 2012  
Last day of the registration period February 19, 2012  
First day of classes scheduled for the summer semester February 20, 2012  
Last day of classes scheduled for the summer semester June 14, 2012  
First day of the summer examination period June 15, 2012  
Last day of the summer examination period June 29, 2012  
First day of the autumn examination period September 3, 2012  
Last day of the autumn examination period September 18, 2012  
First day of the registration period September 19, 2012  
Last day of the registration period September 30, 2012  
Last day of the academic year September 30, 2012  

 

Moreover

in the winter semester:

  • November 9, 2011 (Wednesday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
  • December 15, 2011 (Thursday) – classes will be organized according to the Tuesday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Tuesdays
  • January 16, 2012 (Monday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays

in the summer semester:

  • March 7, 2012 (Wednesday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
  • May 30, 2012 (Wednesday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
