According to the regulation of Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology a calendar of the academic year 2011/2012 is the following:

| First day of classes scheduled for the summer semester | February 20, 2012 | |
| Last day of classes scheduled for the summer semester | June 14, 2012 | |

Moreover
in the winter semester:
- November 9, 2011 (Wednesday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
- December 15, 2011 (Thursday) – classes will be organized according to the Tuesday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Tuesdays
- January 16, 2012 (Monday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
in the summer semester:
- March 7, 2012 (Wednesday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
- May 30, 2012 (Wednesday) – classes will be organized according to the Friday schedule, due to the insufficient number of Fridays
