The Foundation is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization. It is financed mainly by grants from Sponsors, does not derive any of its income from own business activities. As the Foundation is legally recognized as pro publico bono entity and thus any grants to the Foundation enjoy preferential tax accounting treatment.

Cooperation with FAO


Design and implementation of a new WWW-ISIS software for both Windows and Linux platforms. 1 December 2009 – 30 November 2010. Project for FAO.

The goal of the project is to build a fully fledged schemaless database along with the RAD tools for building repositories with advanced text retrieval functionalities.

MOST - Foundation Mobile Open Society through wireless Technology


MOST Foundation (Mobile Open Society Through Wireless Technology), was officially initiated in 2001. The concept of MOST has been prompted by the pressing need for generating interdisciplinary thinking and acting synergy between research scholars, practicing industry executives, content providers, and decision makers who share a strong interest in the topic of Information Society, Mobile Economy, and Higher Education Models based on interactions within and between humans and information systems.

JÓZEF MIANOWSKI FOUND - A Foundation for the Promotion of Science

The MIANOWSKI FUND established in 1881 was reestablished in the form of a Foundation for the Promotion of Science in 1991.
