Course-related surveys in the winter semester 2020/2021

Course-related surveys concerning courses realized at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology in the winter semester 2020/2021 can be filled in using the USOS system.

Surveys can be completed in two ways:

  1. Using the PW USOS-web portal
  2. Using the Mobile USOS PW application

We especially recommend the second method, because it is simply more convenient, and it allows the lecturer to observe the number of completed surveys, which is not available at the USOS-web portal. The ability to observe the number of completed surveys may be particularly useful if the survey is to be conducted during the class.

We briefly present both of these methods.

Using the USOS-web portal

Students can easily find links to active surveys in the "Student's Section", as shown in Figure 1.

Caution

The last question in the questionnaire is a descriptive one and any comments can be provided there.

Once submitted, the survey can not be neither modified nor revoked, because - to preserve its anonymity - no links between the answers and the student who provided them are saved. We ask students to fill in the questionnaires with consideration.

Using the Mobile USOS PW application

The Mobile USOS PW application is available for devices either with the Android operating system or iOS operating system.

Students will easily find links to active surveys in the "Surveys" section, as shown in Figure 3.

Survey-mobile

The lecturer, using the Mobile USOS PW application, can observe on an ongoing basis how the number of completed surveys concerning his/her classes changes, as shown in Figure 5.

Caution

Lecturers gain an insight into the statistical results of the surveys only after the end of the classes in a given semester and after conducting all the tests verifying the learning outcomes of students. In addition, the results of surveys are made available to the lecturers only after such decision has been made by the Dean.
