Classes repetition fees

In the USOS system, on individual accounts, in the "pending balance PLN" column, there are accruals of repetition fees for classes failed in the semester. 23Z and 23L, with a payment deadline of April 22nd, 2024.

For what kind  of classes I have been charged?

The fee for repeating classes was charged for the classes you failed in semesters 23Z and 23L and are re-taken in semester 24L. The exception here are PE and foreign language classes, for which we charge a fee regardless of the discipline or language - because they can be passed interchangeably, e.g. yoga instead of boxing or Italian language instead of French language.

Information about the components of the charged fee can be obtained by completing the form.

After completing the form, you will receive e-mail information about the components of the calculation, i.e. the name of the corrected course, the semester from which the course comes and the amount to be paid. The response will be generated manually, so it will not reach you immediately.

What should I do if I don't agree with the amount of the fee?

Anyone who does not agree with the amount of the fee may submit an appeal or an application for a reduction of the fee by April 7th, 2024.

The fee may be waived if it turns out that the specified classes are not re-taken.

The fee may be reduced if the student has completed some forms of classes in a given subject (lecture/laboratory/exercises/project). A person wishing to obtain a fee reduction is obliged to submit a written application, which must be certified by the instructor as to whether the course has been completed. Applications should be submitted on the appropriate form (available at: https://www.elka.pw.edu.pl/Studenci/Zalaczniki-i-formularze/Formularze) in the form of a signed scan or photo in PDF format through MS Forms, by April 7th 2024.

When and how should I pay?

Payments can be made by transfer to your individual account, the number of which is visible in USOS, at any time before the deadline, i.e. April 22nd, 2024. Payments made earlier will not be "lost" under any circumstances, but will be visible on the student's individual account after April 22nd, 2024.

Calculations were made according to rules and rates specified in the decisions of the Rector of WUT:

  1. For students admitted to studies in the academic year 2021/2022, 2018/2019 and earlier: Decision No. 95/2021 of May 7., 2021
  2. For students admitted to studies in the 2019/2020 academic year:
    Decision No. 89/;2019 of June 24., 2019
  3. For students admitted to studies in the 2020/2021 academic year:
    Decision No. 123/2020 of 18 June 18.,2020
  4. For students admitted to studies in the 2021/2022 academic year:
    Decision No. 94 and 95/2021 of May 7., 2021.
  5. For students admitted to studies in the academic year 2022/2023:
    Decision No. 112 and 113/2022 of April 28, 2022.
  6. For students admitted to studies in the academic year 2023/2024:
    Decision No. 118 and 121/2023 of May 16, 2023.
