Structure of studies in English

 

The Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology offers the following studies in English, in the area of Information and Communications Technology (ICT):

  •  Bachelor of Science - B.Sc.;
  •  Master of Science - M.Sc.;
  •  Philosophiae Doctor - Ph.D.;

The programme of study leading to the B.Sc. degree (undergraduate) is a four-year programme. The programme requires a minimum of 240 ECTS credits, including credits earned for final project and diploma thesis.

The programme of study leading to the M.Sc. degree (graduate) is a two-year programme. The programme requires a minimum of 120 ECTS credits, including credits earned for research and thesis. If an M.Sc. candidate holds a B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in the related area, up to 30 credits earned from other academic institutions can be transferred to the M.Sc. programme.

The programme of study for the doctoral degree requires a minimum of 240 ECTS credits beyond the Bachelor's degree, including credits earned for research and dissertation. If a Ph.D. candidate holds an M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in the related area, up to 30 credits from the M.Sc. programme can be transferred to the Ph.D. programme.
